A New Recipe

P473

So, what's for dinner? Nothing special as we were still recovering from the Singapore trip and the boys were still grumpy from their first day back to school after a long break.

Irfan was happy to have his presents but we decided to have cake this weekend instead. Unfortunately, I'll be on call on Sunday.

Out of the blue, Anita decided to try a new recipe. It was fish cooked in the oven and some spinach. It turned out great, although the gravy was a bit lumpy. Can't complain really.

The Rush is Back

-1385406816

Took me a whole hour driving in today. We can safely say that things were back to normal. The traffic jam is back. The wards were full. The holidays were finally over. And I'm so jealous for those KL folks who would be off tomorrow. Grrrr!

Lembu nak jaga

For the last couple of days, Idlan had been singing a song that had been driving us nuts. It was the Maroon 5 tune, "Moves like Jagger". But instead, he sang the chorus as "ada lembu nak jaga".

That was a meme on YouTube created by a bunch of local twitteratis. With a fun looking video. Once seen, you'd be hooked!

Chubby Boy

Chilling out while watching Ben 10 was Idlan's idea of relaxing. And on this Sunday afternoon, that was exactly what he did. And I'm sure he put on weight in the last week that he had been at home. All he did was eat, play and sleep. Chubby boy!

IKEA at Night

I never realized that IKEA was opened until 11 pm during weekends. we found out about it last night when we took a late stroll around The Curve. On the way out Puan Anita decided to see if they were still opened and they were.

We did not do any shopping though as we could imagine the queue would be long that late. The boys were getting tired as well. Anita wanted to see if there were any new furnitures as we would be on a hunt for the new apartment we were planning to move into next month.

Even at this hour, the place was still packed. The cafe was still filled up with shoppers. And this was at the start of the long Chinese New Year weekend. Imagine if it was a normal weekend when all the city dwellers were around. I can imagine it would be a hassle getting things done at that hour.

We had problem heading back to the car park though. At 10 pm sharp, the underground walkway from Ikano to The Curve we're closed. We had to go up the ground level and cross the road. Walk into the mall at the main entrance and make our way down to the car. A bit of a hassle if you were carrying your shopping ......
