All was up!

Finally, I managed to upload all the photos onto my SmugMug server and linked them all onto my blog. Took me quite a while but it was finally done. I couldn't do it earlier today since I was at work. And being away for about a week had really caused a backlog. For those visiting to see the upload, please ice on the "MSH Photographs" on the top row of the page. That would take you the list of slideshows. There would be instructions there on how to download the photographs. Remember, the photos are FREE.

Next week will be a packed one with the MMed Clinical exams taking place. At least UM was not hosting any - Part I would be in UKM and Part II in HUSM Kubang Kerian. Less work but still I would have to participate on the examiner side, as well as making sure that the thesis presentation went on according to plan. I also had a "Calibration Meeting" to attend to on Sunday. So can't make any big plans for the weekend then.

Heading Back to KL

Finally arrived at KLIA. Managed to get the stuffs from my wife's cousin as planned. Just also found out that Irfan has been running high fever. He was complaining of a toothache since yesterday and from this morning been having runny nose. Maybe would have to take him to see the Doctors later.

The flight home was smooth. Had a long conversation with a colleague about things, making the journey pass by really fast. The was a big game coming up later this evening. United playing Arsenal away at the Emirates. Should be a compelling game if I manage to stay awake.

Photos for Download

All together I had snapped more than 1000 frames in the last few days around the event. All the photos has been transferred into my backup harddrive now and will be processed as soon as I return to KL. It should appear on this website some time tomorrow. I would be creating a pane on the top of the page for easy navigation.

All the photos should be free for download. You would be transferred to my photo site once you select the photos you would like to download. All the best. I hope you have enjoyed the Kuching meeting as much as I did. I will also make my slides available for download - the key once of course - not the Premier League table or William and Kate's wedding photos. :)

Checking in

My flight into Kuching last night was delayed quite a bit and I ended up checking into Pullman Kuching just before midnight. The hotel was one of the new kid on the block. The lobby was spacious but ether empty. You can still smell the coating on the walls, it was so new.

Close to midnight, I just headed straight for the shower and unpacked. I was too tired to wait for the Barca-Real Champs League semi-final match. I fell asleep while doing done reading, and woke up after 7 this morning.

Another shower, and then breakfast. Since I was on the Executive Floor, breakfast was just a floor up at the Lounge. It was quite at the time I showed up and the spread there I was sure was a lot less than at the main kitchen, but minus the crowd of course.

I had a quick wonder around the exec lounge, there was free Internet station, some massage chair, plenty of coffee and drinks, spacious sofa with the TV showing CNN - the typical business types hanging around there. I wished there was a small gym here rather than having to head downstairs for the treadmill.

30 minutes passed before I headed back to the room. I still had some reading to do and some stuff to prepare, so better start cracking. My first engagement would be straight after lunch for the patient support group talk. Will blog about that later.

All set

Anita was kind enough to do the packing for me last night. I was busy preparing the materials for the weekend meetings in Kuching. I would be taking a flight late this evening and would be leaving UMMC right after the Day Care. If everything going according to plan, I would be able to have a few hours at the airport to do some work as I was sure I would be tied up otherwise.

I would have to take the cleaning solutions for my cameras to Kuching as I did not manage to get everything ready. Initially I wanted to bring a couple if bodies with me, but after trying to fit everything into the camera bag, I settled for just the 7D, with a couple of lenses, the 17-55 and 50 prime. It should be able to cover most things. And of course the flashgun, a couple set of rechargeables and some extra memory card. I would be bringing the charges over as well of course.
