Back on his Feet

Idlan was much better and today, both of the boys went to see the Paediatrician - right next door from the apartment - for check-up. Irfan was due for his jab as well. And he took it like a man - helped by the promise of a big tub of ice cream after that!

Idlan duly completed his Lego set - an AT-AT from Star Wars - in a single afternoon. He was having trouble getting the bricks upright but had since sorted that problem out.

We just watched an episode of Downton Abbey just now while the boys were occupied in their rooms. Time for me to call it the evening as well and have some proper sleep ....

Poorly Idlan

Since Monday, Idlan had been more quiet than usual. He said, his eyeballs heard. Then he started having a temperature. Poor boy.

On Monday evening, he asked if I could drive him to Dunkin' Donut. He was craving for something sweet. Yesterday, he asked for some Lego. He got the Lego but slept before opening the box.

Temperature approaching 40C.

He woke up early this morning opening his Lego box just before I left for work. He felt a bit better but still having throat pain. I just called Anita just now, and apparently he was having a nap again. I was on call today, and hopefully it would not be too busy. I wonder what he wanted later ...

Lighthouse Family

Project for the weekend, build a lighthouse. Not my project but for Idlan at school. Complete with light switches and all.

Took Anita a while to help Idlan out. He did all the internal wiring but Anita did the gluing and cutting.

Hopefully it turned out OK in the end, and it would last until Monday when he need to hand the project in.

Catching the Bug

After the hospital visit to see his cousin Sarah the other day who was down with dengue, Idlan seemed to have been hit by a bug.

He was up last night with fever and diarrhoea. Poor boy. He was absent from school this morning - much to the displeasure of Irfan - and was resting at home with his grandfather.

I will be heading to Gleneagles after this to join Anita to visit Sarah again. She might be discharged later today. Hopefully Idlan would also settle by then.

Park at Park City

Even the name suggested that the place was full of greenery. But today was the first time that we explored Desa Parkcity. And yes, there many parks at that part of the city. And on Saturday afternoon, it was filled with the crowd.

We only stopped at one of the parks - Park West - to run around. The main park by the lake was too full and we struggled to find a nearby parking spot.

They had a small exhibit there this weekend. Mainly lifestyle stuffs. They were about to pack up for day when we arrived. Nothing much to see then. A Frisbee or a football would have been great as the grass and ground was really soft and inviting.

After the walk, we drove around Park City, exploring the houses and apartments. They were gorgeous, and expensive. Some if the superlink houses were on the market for above RM 4 million. Madness!

The place was still being developed and built. They had malls and bazaar coming up soon, and by then I was sure the medical centre would've been more established.

Anita was smitten ...... should I be worried?
