LEGO at the Village

It was almost Merdeka and usually Bangsar Village would be filled by flags and the rest. This time around, there were flags. But it was made of LEGO bricks.

Neat. They were just starting out, so I suspect that we would see the whole thing only later in the week. Will definitely drop by again to have another look.

Back on his Feet

Idlan was much better and today, both of the boys went to see the Paediatrician - right next door from the apartment - for check-up. Irfan was due for his jab as well. And he took it like a man - helped by the promise of a big tub of ice cream after that!

Idlan duly completed his Lego set - an AT-AT from Star Wars - in a single afternoon. He was having trouble getting the bricks upright but had since sorted that problem out.

We just watched an episode of Downton Abbey just now while the boys were occupied in their rooms. Time for me to call it the evening as well and have some proper sleep ....

Business Was Good

After a long couple of weeks with work and travels to Penang, it was time to chill with my boys. It was a Saturday evening and we went to do some shopping at Bangsar Village.

Not your typical shopping as we had already got the clothes sorted out. It was for the biscuits. It was Biskut Raya Time!

That's one nice lighting ...But my boys got other ideas ...Anita had frequent this particular stall for the last five years. Expensive but the cookies there were the bomb!

It wasn't just Anita doing the picking. Idlan was also on the hunt. In fact he picked up at least three jars! Sigh!

That put a dent in my wallet...‎

Lego at BV

For the last week, everytime I went into Bangsar Village, I couldn't stop but take.a peek at the main lobby where a Lego fest was taking place. It was mote of a.workshop for the school holidays. Complete with competitions and other fairs.

There was also a small kiosk being set up. I wanted to see if they sell any limited edition package there. But I was disappointed. Most of the items I could by from Toys'r'Us nearby. They didn't even offer any discount.

Hmmm! Unless I brought the boys along, and they wanted to join the workshop, I couldn't see any point going there. Maybe they would have better offer next time .....

All Stacked Up

The boys had an epic Lego battle last night, the one that they lined up on the floor the evening before. Lego bits were everywhere, but when I returned home this evening, all the bits had been stacked neatly.

Not sure how long that would last......
