Missing the M

Over the last few months, I have been neglecting my Leica M. Maybe I was so used to the autofocus on my Sony and Fuji, as well as my exploration of wide angle snaps. The M 240 had been in my dry cabinet for far too long and last weekend, I decided to take it out for a spin.

Wow! Was I missing a lot. Coupled with the Summilux-35, you could tell where the charm lies. The crisp RAW files coming out from the camera as well as that instant snap you get off the lens could not be replicated by other set up.

Should I have more free time in the coming weeks, I would definitely be taking it for more spins ...

A Sunday Outing

I had to take out my camera today. I used a different one during the the photowalk last weekend but that can’t compete with my favourite mechanical gear. I had the crave.

Just you and me ...For a good causeGotta catch them all ...They need some good coachingThe selfie generationAcross the roadLooking down ....Of construct ....Indoor lighting ....Blowing bubblesTurning backSince Anita needed some air, I decided to have dinner at Bukit Bintang and since I was early, I had enough town to walk around before we settled down to eat. The weather was rather overcast, threatening to rain, but the Pavilion area was buzzing with plenty of activities.

Considering it was a dull day, I did have a few shots. At least I could go back home happy …. for another week …..

Kueh-mueh at Fahrenheit

During one of the evening taking Anita for shopping, I had the chance to stop at Fahrenheit just across the road from Pavilion. The Raya decorations were being set up at most of the malls and the theme at Fahrenheit was rather unique. It was on Malay cookies, or in Malay Kuih Raya.

Lemming of course ...Ketupat ....

But they were giant sized. Not edible I was sure. But there were plenty of them and on the whole I thought they were pretty neat.
