Happy Sunday Morning

That rare Sunday morning when I was forced not to do the ward round, I was treated to a glorious sunrise.

In fact I just sat there staring away for a good 10 minutes listening to the sound of nature. Cool breeze from my room balcony, I thought I should do it more often. Maybe I should delay starting my Sunday rounds early. Enjoy the morning a bit ....

Now, should I go to the gym or look for breakfast .....

Another Monday

A busy week it seemed to be like. Sorting out the patients for the early part of the week, followed by the trip to Kota Kinabalu, attending the Haematology Society meeting this weekend.

Looking forward to some break after quite a busy week. My flight would be on Thursday afternoon and at the rate I was going, I might be occupied all week.

My poor boys had to stay put during their holidays. The only trip they had was last week at Port Dickson. That was without me around. Anita planned to spend the weekend at Gombak while I was away. Then they would be back to school the week after.

Best to get on with work then.

Glorious Sunrise

On call today. And was called in last night. As the call came by around midnight, I decided against returning to Gombak and spent the night at the apartment instead. And I was treated with a glorious sunrise this morning straight into my bedroom.

Shame that I had to go to work early this morning. I would have loved to have a nice cup of coffee, enjoying the sumptuous morning. Well, I have to go earn a living .......

Glorious Morning

I have never been a good sleeper when I'm on call. But last night was different. It was the first time I slept at the new apartment. After the unexpected longer than expected journey home after midnight, I went about exploring the place.

Puan Anita had bought drinks, some sushi and pizza for dinner. And she left it in the kitchen. I had taken earlier dinner, so it was a nice snack. I then went around tuning the TV. Satellite was not connected yet although the decoder ha already been installed.

Next, I opened the door to the balcony to enjoy some fresh air. I left it open overnight and slept on the breeze. The next thing I knew, it was the speakers from the mosque nearby blaring out recitals from the Koran, followed by the athan. It was already daybreak.

I ambled myself to the main bedroom, switched the heater on. Thump! The circuit breaker kicked in. Oh dear! It soon did it again the second time. Better get it fixed later then.

While waiting for the hot water, I enjoyed the morning sunrise with a cup of coffee. It was nice although my unit did not enjoy the full glory. Enough through my soon to be study window though.

I ended up having shower at the other bathroom, got myself dressed and realised that the shaver was left in Gombak .....

The drive in was superb though. 10 minutes to the hospital. On a smooth traffic. time to get some work done ....
